The Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) is the world’s largest government-sponsored health assurance scheme, providing upto 5 lakh per family every year for secondary and tertiary hospitalisation care to poor and vulnerable families that constitute the bottom 40% of the population of India.
